City dweller, I’ve always loved the city, its smells, lights and its noises. I love witnessing the changes in a city as it builds and deconstructs.
It creates city pulsations and vibrations that make me the need for nature and to witness climate change.
Nature, not unlike the city, brings its own share of movements, tumult, music different.
Its scented forests centuries-old trees that embrace me.
I become one with the natural elements, like when I am rock-climbing: I feel the mineral attraction.
The attraction of these different sensory, authentic contacts overwhelms me fully and it is then that inspiration is born.
I use materials from our urban environment and natural materials to make people react to the planetary state.
On the pictorial plane with the work of paper, charcoal, charcoal, paint and gilding, I come to make the infinitely small, infinitely large and a very dark aesthetic, reflecting on the current situation.
With photography, I rub shoulders with and contrast natural landscapes and de-constructions.
On a sculptural level with raw, mineral and natural materials. Agglomeration and transformation to define an object, a stele.
And impressions thus become similar to the fingerprint: testimony to the existence of a being.
By diverting natural elements combined with urban elements, I also want to convey the message that the two can co-exist
