"D’un contact naît une forme...
Malgré les formes diverses que l’empreinte revêt, sa distinction se fait au premier coup d’œil et son résultat, identifiable par tous.
L’empreinte est immaîtrisable et pourtant si limpide, qu’elle en devient merveilleuse.
Dans cette technique est projeté un moyen rudimentaire de capter et de dupliquer le réel, de le figer et d’en donner sa représentation.
Les empreintes font écho, touchent par leur réalité et véracité, mystère et symbole, leur omniprésence et leur pouvoir à disparaître parfois sous nos yeux quand d’autres nous les crèvent. Que restitue vraiment une empreinte ? Peut-elle tout capter ? Garde-t-elle un substrat du modèle dupliqué ? Quel degré de réalité livre-t-elle ? Comment comprendre ce protocole au delà de sa technicité ?"

"From contact comes a form ...
Despite the various forms that the imprint takes, its distinction is made at first glance and its result identifiable by all.
The imprint is immovable and yet so clear that it becomes marvelous.
In this technique is projected a rudimentary means of capturing and duplicating reality, freezing it and giving its representation.
The footprints echo, touch by their reality and veracity, mystery and symbol, their omnipresence and their power to sometimes disappear before our eyes when others burst them from us. What does a footprint really return? Can she capture everything?
Does it keep a substrate of the duplicated model? What degree of reality does it deliver? How to understand this protocol beyond its technicality? "
